There are a lot of names for it. Intuition. Gut feeling. Body wisdom. Instinct. Higher self. They're all different names for that part of us that can often provide us with guidance when we need it.
How can hypnosis help?
Your regular waking state is probably filled with stress and
distractions. Imagine a typical weekday afternoon driving through
Boston. Long lines of cars at traffic lights. Other cars cutting you
off. Double parked trucks. It's just hard to get through.
Then imagine a drive through town early on a Sunday morning. Clear
roads. Easy driving. You can get to your destination faster and more
easily. That's the difference between your day-to-day waking mind and
the relaxed, focused attention of hypnosis.
Hypnosis helps you cut through the mental "clutter" that prevents you from accessing your instincts.
How does it work?
I act as a guide through the process. Usually that involves first helping you achieve a comfortable, relaxed state of deep concentration and then giving you further suggestions so you can clear your mind and access your intuition.
How many sessions does it take?
Clients usually find that within one or two sessions they know whether or not they can find what they need.
How much does it cost?
Work for clarity/direction is billed at $225 per 1.5 to two hour session.
How are the results?
In the area of clarity and direction, I've seen some clients do some amazing work for themselves. I've also seen some clients who didn't find much at all. The work very much depends on the individual and the nature of the work they're doing.
