Experience
With thousands of hours of session experience, I've helped hundreds of clients solve dozens of different types of problems since I began this work in 2001. I'm certified by the National Guild of Hypnotists, the American Council of Hypnotist Examiners and the American Board of Hypnotherapy. I'm not a doctor, psychologist or psychiatrist, though. Approach
I'm a pragmatist. I favor whatever approach best honors the individual client's unique needs and helps them achieve their outcome as quickly, safely and effectively as possible.
Different clients structure their issues in different ways. Because of this, I find it's essential to have a wide variety of tools to help them get things solved. Most of those approaches I use involve hypnosis. Many involve other types of coaching and personal change techniques. My style can be soft and caring, encouraging clients to take things slowly, to allow time for a process. It also be very direct and provocative with results coming very quickly.
Passion
I have a passion for helping people get things solved. I don't offer trainings, I don't write books, I don't do stage hypnosis, I don't do group sessions, I don't market hypnosis CDs. My focus is working one-on-one with individual clients and giving them my 100% full attention - so I can help them do whatever kind of work they need to do to get their problems completely solved.
Media/Recognition
As of 1/2011, I've earned a five-star average on both Yelp! and Google's user reviews. The Citysearch average is 4.5 stars. I've been guest lecturer at MIT and Boston University, and Boston Magazine, The Berkeley Beacon and Men's Health have all interviewed me. I've also appeared on local cable TV.
Background
Before pursuing hypnotherapy, I held the titles of Vice President, Research and Technology at Press Access a Boston/San Francisco media research company and Vice President, Public Relations Research division at LexisNexis, an international unit of Reed-Elsevier.
